Within the commercial vehicle industry, Trumac may be a new name, but the company has a long-standing pedigree for building top-quality vehicle bodies as a result of its manufacturing excellence. Formerly GRP Westbury, the company is one of the longest established manufacturing organisations involved in the commercial vehicle sector, with a history going back 70 years.
The company is privately owned by two shareholders, namely Jarvis MacDonald and Heather Trueman who lead the Board of Directors.
Vehicle bodies built by Trumac are an everyday sight on the roads with many leading household names within transport and distribution now benefiting from the company's "Total Life Cost" approach to manufacturing.
Steve Davis, Transport Manager at Holland and Barrett,
"The last five years has proved to us that Trumac manufacture extremely well built and practical vehicle bodies. In that time, we have had no major problems at all with any of the Trumac body work, which is a testament to its quality and its suitability for intensive retail delivery operations."
